Financial Analyst

Volunteer Role

The Financial Analyst will help interpret how geopolitical events influence markets, sectors, commodities, and investment sentiment. This role is designed for candidates who are drawn to the intersection of political decision-making and financial outcomes — and who want to build analytical experience working with live international intelligence. This is a volunteer role.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor geopolitical developments for market relevance across sectors and asset classes
  • Assist with macro and sector-level analysis tied to international events
  • Identify potential investment or risk implications arising from global political developments
  • Help translate complex geopolitical developments into concise, structured analytical takeaways

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or completed a degree in a relevant field such as Economics, Finance, Political Economy, Business, or International Affairs
  • Familiarity with financial markets, macroeconomic concepts, or investment analysis
  • Strong analytical writing and the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources

Research Analyst

Volunteer Role

The Research Analyst will support ongoing geopolitical monitoring by gathering information, organizing developments, tracking recurring themes, and helping structure intelligence outputs. This role is suited for candidates who enjoy deep research, pattern recognition, and global affairs — and who want hands-on experience building structured intelligence context. This is a volunteer role.

Responsibilities

  • Track international political, economic, and security developments across key regions
  • Organize source material and maintain structured event timelines
  • Support research for briefings, dashboards, and analytical summaries
  • Help identify patterns, emerging risks, and recurring strategic themes across monitored areas

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or completed a degree in a relevant field such as Political Science, International Relations, History, Security Studies, or Global Affairs
  • Demonstrated interest in geopolitics, international security, or regional affairs
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage and synthesize large volumes of information

Journalist

Volunteer Role

The Journalist will help write clear, concise, and well-structured geopolitical and market intelligence content across written and digital formats. This role is for candidates who want to build experience translating complex international developments into sharp, accessible reporting — and who care about editorial discipline, factual accuracy, and professional tone. This is a volunteer role.

Responsibilities

  • Draft short-form and long-form geopolitical summaries and intelligence briefings
  • Turn structured research into clear, publication-ready editorial outputs
  • Assist with headline writing, briefing structure, and story framing
  • Support digital content creation across platforms, including written and social formats
  • Help maintain a factual, analytical, and professional tone across all published content

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or completed a degree in a relevant field such as Journalism, Communications, English, Media Studies, or Political Science
  • Strong writing ability with an eye for clarity, structure, and factual accuracy
  • Some exposure to international news, geopolitics, or public affairs through coursework, personal interest, or prior work
