Where we describe how companies, sectors or securities are exposed to a development, we are describing exposure — not recommending that anyone buy, sell or hold any security or other instrument, and not predicting prices. Some content is produced with automated tools, including AI models. This includes the daily and weekly brief overviews, conflict summaries, Market Assistant answers, scenario outputs and My Brief briefings. These are labelled as AI-generated and are not reviewed by an editor before they are shown. They can be incomplete or wrong, and they can state an inference as though it were a fact. Treat them as a starting point for your own verification. Editorial analysis and intelligence cases are prepared and reviewed by people, and we say so where that applies.
We draw on public sources, official publications and reporting by others, and we identify our sources where we can. An allegation or claim reported from a source is that source’s statement, not our finding. Information can change quickly and may be out of date; each tool shows when its data was collected. A missing result may reflect a gap in the sources or collection, not the absence of an event.
Restricted-party screening shows possible matches against the specific lists named in each result, as of the collection date shown. “No match found” means no match was found in those lists at that time — it is not legal clearance, does not cover every list or country, and does not analyse ownership or control. The certification tracker summarises published requirements; it is not an assessment or certification. Confirm with the official source and qualified advisers before relying on either.
