2. What to Put in the Subject Line
- Privacy — access to or correction of your personal information, or withdrawal of consent.
- Billing — membership charges, cancellation or refunds.
- Licensing — DB Wire licences, republication or permissions.
- Correction — something you believe we published in error.
- Legal — notices, rights concerns and anything else.
3. Response Times
- We acknowledge inquiries within two (2) business days.
- Most inquiries receive a substantive response within five (5) business days.
- Privacy requests (access or correction) are answered within thirty (30) days. If we need longer, we will tell you within those thirty days why, and when you will hear from us — no more than thirty (30) further days.
- Unsubscribe requests made by email are actioned immediately and in any case within ten (10) business days. The unsubscribe link in each email works instantly.
4. Things You Can Do Yourself
- Download your data, change email preferences or close your account in your account settings.
- Change cookie choices from Cookie settings at the bottom of any page.
- Cancel a membership from Manage billing in your account settings.
5. Identity Checks
To protect your information, we may ask you to write from the email address on your account, or to confirm details, before acting on a privacy or billing request.
